In addition to the clinics listed in the above PDF files, we will have 2 additional clinics:

  • 75 Years of Model Railroad Manufacturing History
    • An Exhibit depicting the past 75 years of Model Railroad Manufacturing History, from Al Kalmbach’s model train to today’s digital experience. See trains, kits and accessories from your childhood. Discover the development of rolling stock from paper to wood to brass to plastic injection parts. See the development of structure kits from a box of sticks to laser cut wood parts and metal detail to animated carnival rides. See the train control from Lionel and American Flyer power packs to Digital Command Control.  See examples from Z to Large Scale and every size in between. The exhibit contains items produced 60 years ago to the same models still being produced today. Special thanks to the Manufacturers, the Howell Day Museum and the many individuals willing to loan parts of their collections for their support in making this unique display possible. This is a once in a lifetime viewing experience of model railroad products!
