AMTRAK serves the Milwaukee Intermodal Station located at 433 W. St Paul Street and General Mitchell Field with seven trains daily orginating from Chicago. There is also one train that arrives at Milwaukee via Minneapolis/St. Paul

The convention staff has contact AMTRAK group sales and has received a special discount for travel to and from Milwaukee for the period of July 8 through July 21, 2010. This discount will be 10% off of the lowest available fare. For those of you who are seniors, a 15% discount already applies and cannot be combined with the convention discount.

To book your reservation call AMTRAK at 800-872-7245 or contact your local travel agent and refer to the Convention Fare Code X41A-976. This fare cannot be booked via the internet and is not valid on Auto Train and Acela Service. The fair is valid on AMTRAK Regional for all departures seven days a week, except for holiday blackouts and includes Sleepers, Business Class or First Class seats with payment of the full applicable accomodations charges.

Take Greyhound to Milwaukee's new Intermodal center. Visit Greyhound's website for bus schedules and booking your trip to Milwaukee.

When you arrive at General Mitchel International, you can take rent a car/ flag a taxi. Take I-94 West to get to Milwaukee from the airport.

General Mitchel International is also served by AMTRAK with seven trains per day. Refer to the Rail section for more details.
